New director of services at Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord

The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Tania Reid Watson as Director of Pedagogical Services.
Ms. Reid Watson has worked in the world of education for over 20 years and is currently Principal at École secondaire Cité-Supérieure in Marathon. Ms. Reid Watson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Lakehead University, a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Ottawa University and a qualification in reading.
Since the beginning of her career, Ms. Reid Watson has held positions as a teacher, educational consultant and principal at both the elementary and secondary levels. Her many years of experience have given her an in-depth understanding of the needs of students and teachers, as well as specialized expertise in literacy.
Ms. Reid Watson stands out for her inspiring leadership, her dedication to the school community and her ability to foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. This appointment marks an important milestone in her career, recognising her skills and commitment to education.
Thanks to her human approach, collaborative spirit and developed organizational skills, the Board is confident that Ms. Reid Watson will be able to guide and support her colleagues in the development of innovative pedagogical practices and ensure the continuous improvement of quality education.
The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is delighted to welcome Ms. Reid Watson to her new position. Ms. Reid Watson will begin her new duties in the coming weeks.
Ms. Reid Watson will succeed Carole Brouillard-Landry, who announced her retirement after a long career with the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord. The Board would like thank Ms. Brouillard-Landry for her leadership, her dedication and her many years of service to the students, and wishes her a well-deserved retirement.
