Two Sabres complete the IB Program

July 9, 2021

École secondaire Hanmer congratulates Morgan Leduc and Olivier Contois, 2021 graduates. Morgan and Olivier have completed all the requirements of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program.

Morgan and Olivier have flourished both academically and personally in this extensive two-year program of study.  The IB program, which is recognized by post-secondary institutions internationally, includes several university-level courses, a Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) component, and the writing of a thesis on a topic of their choice.

In this time of uncertainty and great change, Morgan and Olivier have shown great resilience and perseverance in facing all the challenges that have been presented to them.  Morgan and Olivier will be heading to Laurentian University in September, Morgan in the Human Kinetics program and Olivier in the Biochemistry program. Congratulations to these two amazing Sabres!
