New Interim Principal at École secondaire Cité-Supérieure

The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Julie Cyr as Interim Principal at École secondaire Cité-Supérieure in Marathon.
Ms. Cyr brings a solid background in education with more than 23 years as a teacher at École secondaire Cité-Supérieure. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education from Lakehead University and a qualication in Guidance and Special Education.
Recipient of the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord Prix de l’innovation 2024 (Innovation Award), Ms. Cyr is brimming with initiatives and innovative ideas. Always abreast of innovation and keenly interested in research and pedagogy, Ms. Cyr puts her love of learning to the forefront and draws on her resources to offer developmental tools and winning strategies to allow students to achieve their full potential.
Furthermore, her ability to listen attentively to students and colleagues makes her an ideal candidate for this position. The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord has no doubt that Ms. Cyr will lead the École secondaire Cité-Supérieure team with ease and provide a school environment conducive to the success of each student. The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is delighted to welcome Ms. Cyr to her new role. Ms. Cyr will begin her new position in the coming weeks.
Ms. Cyr will succeed Ms. Reid Watson, who is moving on to new challenges as Director of Pedagogical Services. CS Grand Nord would like to thank Ms. Reid Watson for her work at École secondaire Cité-Supérieure and wish her every success in her new position.
