New Assistant Superintendent of Business

The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is pleased to announce the nomination of Shannon Chevrier as Assistant Superintendent of Business. Ms. Chevrier will begin new position on October 21.
Ms. Chevrier holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from Laurentian University.
Ms. Chevrier currently works as Senior Business Manager and Accountant for the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Throughout her career, Ms. Chevrier has also held various positions, including Business Analyst with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, Accounts Payable Representative with the Ministry of Government Services, and Consultant Coordinator with DiBrina Sure Group.
In her new role, Ms. Chevrier will be responsible for the management, administration and coordination of the Board’s financial and legal affairs, overseeing the Finance, Plant Operations and Information and Technology sectors.
Over the coming months, Mr. Alain Gélinas, Superintendent of Business will work closely with Ms. Chevrier to ensure a smooth transition of responsabilities. Ms. Chevrier will succeed Mr. Gélinas, who will retire in July 2025 at which time Ms. Chevrier will officially assume the position of Superintendent of Business.
The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is delighted to welcome Ms. Shannon Chevrier to the Board family. CS Grand Nord would like to thank Mr. Alain Gélinas for his dedication and his many years of service to the Board, and wishes him a well-deserved retirement.
