Four students from Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord honoured for the 2024–2025 Tapage Awards

Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is proud to highlight the talent and creativity of its students through the Tapage Awards, a student journalism competition that showcases French-language media productions, including articles, columns, opinion pieces and photography.
The recognition ceremony took place on Wednesday, May 13, at Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord head office, in the presence of Mr. Mehdi Mehenni from Le Voyageur, as well as Mr. Donald Dennie, journalist and member of the Tapage jury.
École secondaire Cité-Supérieure is proud to highlight the achievements of Aspen Law, who has distinguished herself on several occasions. Aspen obtained third place in the category of meilleurs articles journalistiques as well as second place for meilleure photo. She was also a recipient of the Prix du Conseil. Her text entitled L’art de fabriquer de la neige captured the jury’s attention through its creativity and quality.
École publique Hélène-Gravel is also celebrating the recognition of Anthony Atoui, named “journaliste en herbe,” highlighting his engagement and interest in journalism.
Finally, École secondaire Macdonald-Cartier is celebrating the success of two of its students. Léa Atoui earned first place in the category of meilleurs textes d’opinion with her piece Le Liban : entre doux souvenirs et le stress de la guerre, while Éloïse Ménard-Robitaille received third place in the category of meilleurs articles arts et culture with her text Amphibien, un roman amusant sur l’éco-anxiété.
Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord warmly congratulates these students for their creativity, dedication, and the outstanding quality of their journalistic work.
