Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord And AEFO- supply teachers Reach A Tentative Agreement

A tentative agreement was reached on October 25, 2024 between the Association des enseignantes et enseignants franco-ontariens de l’Ontario – suppléants du Nord-Ouest publique and the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord.
The bargaining committees representing qualified elementary and secondary occasional teachers and the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord have agreed on a 4-year tentative agreement retroactive to September 1, 2022.
According to Board Chair, Anne-Marie Gélineault, “I’m delighted with this new agreement, which will benefit our board’s supply teachers. We want our supply teachers to be happy, so that they can continue to provide students with a stimulating learning environment and contribute to the success of all our schools.
Ratification is expected within the next few weeks.
