A Principal at Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord appointed at the ADFO

The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord de l’Ontario wishes to announce the appointment of Ms. Stéphanie Sampson as President of the Association des directions et directions adjointes des écoles de langue française de l’Ontario(ADFO).

Ms. Sampson has been with the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord for many years and has extensive experience in education and school management. Ms. Sampson has held teaching and principal positions at École publique l’Escalade in Wawa, École publique Foyer-Jeunesse in Hanmer and École publique Jean-Éthier-Blais in Sudbury where she is currently employed.

The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord would like to thank Ms. Sampson for her tireless dedication to students. Her leadership, active listening and interpersonal skills have enabled her to build strong relationships with her colleagues and school community. Her human approach based on understanding and problem solving will undoubtedly be an asset in her new position.

The Board congratulates Ms. Sampson in her new role at the ADFO and wishes her every success in her new position.

The ADFO represents over 660 principals and vice-principals in Franco-Ontarian schools. It actively contributes to the professional development and training of its members and works to defend their rights and promote the profession.

Ms. Sampson will begin her new position on August 1, 2023 for a one-year term with a possibility of a three-year renewal. Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord will begin the recruitment process to fill the position of principal at École publique Jean-Éthier-Blais.
