New Superintendent of Education at Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord

The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Stéphanie Sampson to the position of Superintendent of Education.  Ms. Sampson will begin her new duties on January 20, 2025.

Ms. Sampson has worked in the field of education for over 14 years.  She is currently President of the Association des directions et directions adjointes des écoles de langue française de l’Ontario (ADFO). Ms. Sampson holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Education from Laurentian University and a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa.

Since the beginning of her career, Ms. Stéphanie Sampson has held teaching positions at École publique l’Escalade in Wawa and École secondaire l’Orée des Bois in Dubreuillville. She was also principal at École publique l’Escalade in Wawa, École publique Foyer-Jeunesse in Hanmer and École publique Jean-Éthier-Blais in Sudbury. Her many years of experience have given her a keen understanding of the needs of students and teachers, and an in-depth knowledge of the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord.

Ms. Sampson stands out for her professionalism, inspiring leadership and human approach. Her diversified career path, enriched by roles in school and organizational leadership, has enabled her to take on a variety of challenges and to develop a strong sense of community.

The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is delighted to welcome Ms. Sampson back to the Board and wishes her every success in her new responsibilities.
