An Unforgettable Tournament: A Recap of the 2025 Tournoi des étoiles Success
Over 600 hockey players, coaches, and chaperones from across the province gathered in Sudbury on March 25 and 26 to participate in the 16th edition of the hockey tournament organized by the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord.
In a spirit of fraternity, camaraderie, and competition, teams made up of 7 and 8 grade students from Ontario’s French-language schools showcased their talents in hopes of earning one of the tournament’s many banners.
The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord would like to express its gratitude to all the players, organizers, coaches, teachers, parents, volunteers, tutors, and sponsors for their support. A special thank you goes to Mr. Roger Quenneville, the teacher of the construction class at École secondaire Macdonald-Cartier, and his students, who crafted the award prizes for the tournament stars. Thanks to their collaboration, the students were able to have fun, play hockey in French, and build lasting friendships with their peers.
