A Journey Through History to Raise Awareness of Tolerance and Human Rights

École secondaire Cité-Supérieure in Marathonl is proud to announce the hosting of the traveling exhibition ”Anne Frank: A History for Today”, which will be on display from March 24 to 29, 2025. This moving exhibition, which immerses visitors in the life of young Anne Frank, one of the most iconic figures of the Holocaust, invites deep reflection on tolerance, memory, and human rights.

The exhibition, which has toured many cities worldwide, tells the poignant story of Anne Frank, a Jewish teenager who was forced to hide with her family during World War II before being arrested and deported. Through photographs, testimonies, and period artifacts, visitors will gain insight into Anne Frank’s life, her courage, and her message of hope.

This initiative is aimed at raising awareness among younger generations about the atrocities of war and the importance of preserving historical memory. Students from the school and other local schools will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops and discussions led by experts to better understand the social and human issues stemming from this dark period of history.

The school also invites families and all members of the community to visit this moving exhibition on Saturday, March 29 from 1 pm to 4 pm and engage in the reflection on Anne Frank’s legacy, contributing to building a fairer and more humane world.
