A Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord teacher is honored by the AIGS

Mrs. Khadidiatou Sylla, teacher at the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord, was recognized by the Association des Ivoiriens et Ivoirienne du Grand Sudbury (AIGS) during a welcoming celebration for newcomers (Akwaba Sudbury), along with other individuals and community
partners.

At this special event, AIGS honored exceptional people who have had a significant impact on the association’s mission and who have served as an inspiration to the educational community and beyond.

Among those celebrated at the event was Mrs. Khadidiatou Sylla, teacher in the PANA program (Programme d’appui aux nouveaux arrivants), who was recognized for her strong testimony of dedication, commitment to the successful integration of families, and support for newly arrived students.

The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord would like to congratulate Mrs. Sylla for her ongoing pursuit of learning, her constant efforts to support newly arrived students, her commitment to inclusion, and her perfect embodiment of successful integration in Sudbury. She exemplifies these values and truly deserves this recognition for her dedication to education, student success, and the well-being of her students.

Recognized for its keen sense of innovation and openness to the world, Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord offers a French-language public education of the highest quality in fifteen elementary schools and eight secondary schools in the communities of Markstay, Noëlville, Greater Sudbury, Blind River, Elliot Lake, Sault Ste. Marie, Wawa, Dubreuilville, Marathon, Manitouwadge, Longlac and Thunder Bay.
